Armed Forces Day 2019 Sunday 7th July 2019 10.30 – 3.30

This year: REME 1st Battalion, Catterick; RAF 607 Squadron; Household Cavalry Recruitmernt Team; DLI Association; Air Cadets; WW1 Field Kitchen; Historic Military WW1+2 English and German displays including small arms, kit etc, The Land Girls, The Tank, Alka Seltzer Sisters singers; Craghead Colliery Band; Land Train; Fairground Rides and more TBC

Play in the Park 2019

Play in the Park is coming back bigger and better for 2019!

Stanley Town Council is announcing this year’s FREE Play in the Park dates for the summer holidays. Rides and activities are FREE so bring the kids, have a picnic and enjoy a real community fun day (hopefully) in the sunshine. Catering and Toilets will be provided on site but on-site catering will charged for. Full details of activities will be published closer to the dates but last year included rock climbing walls, birds of prey, punch and judy shows, play activities, inflatables and rides. We are planning even more activities for this summer
