Extraordinary Council Meeting 7th November 2017
The Town Mayor has called an extraordinary Council meeting next Tuesday to consider a request for support from the Just for Women Centre. An extraordinary meeting can be called at any time by the Town Mayor, or by two ordinary members of Council to consider a single issue. The agenda is linked below.
As newly elected Women’s Officer for North West Durham Constituency Labour Group, I would like to support this request. The access to training and supportive activities would be incredibly useful to those accessing the service and I hope this request is given a favourable reception.
